Salman Khan won’t host Bigg Boss 6? ~ Fun & Entertainment

Buzz is that Salman Khan might not return as the host of the television reality show Bigg Boss in its sixth season this year, but rather make way for good friend Sanjay Dutt to take over as the full-time host.

A couple of factors are working against Salman Khan’s return to the small screen as the host of ‘Bigg Boss 6’ later this year. Firstly, the superstar is still dogged by recurring pain in his jaw due to the nerve disorder trigeminal neuralgia for which he underwent a surgery in the USlast year. Second, Salman has his kitty crammed to the brim with projects like Dabangg 2 and Sher Khan and Kick this year. Thirdly, Sanjay Dutt was liked as the co-host of ‘Bigg Boss 5’ last year, and his taking over as the full-time host and replacing Salman might not hit the TRPs badly.

Though these factors make a strong case for Salman Khan not returning as the show’s host this year, there has yet been no confirmation from the officials of the channel that telecasts the show.

Apparently, the thinking heads at the channel are considering the pros and cons of Sanjay Dutt taking over as the full time host. Salman Khan has hosted the show for two years in a row now, even though in the last season he was seen in only a few episodes because of his shooting commitments in Dublinand Istanbul.
