Kim Kardashian's boyfriend Kanye West has announced that the reality TV star is pregnant with their first child.Kanye shared the couple's happy news during a performance at Revedl in Atlantic City, New Jersey on December 30, and the brunette beauty's representative has now confirmed the news.
During the show, Kanye — who has been dating Kim since April 2011 — told the audience to "stop the music and make noise for my baby mama."While Kim, who is believed to be around 12 weeks pregnant, hasn't spoken about her pregnancy, her family is delighted by the news.

Sibling Khloe Kardashian added, "Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members! Especially when you are so freaking excited!!!!! LOVE is everything!!!! (sic)".

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves welcome baby girl

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves have welcomed a baby girl.Camila, 30 - who tied the knot with the Magic Mike actor in June - gave birth to the couple's third child on Friday, in Austin, Texas, according to TMZ. 

Matthew and Camila already have kids Levi, four and three-year-old Vida. Model Camila, 30, previously revealed she was worried her baby bump could ruin her career. 

Camila signed on as the face of department store Macy's I.N.C International Concepts' campaign in April, and discovered shortly afterwards that she was pregnant with her third child.

She said, "A week before we were supposed to have a photo shoot, I found out I was pregnant!

"I was over the moon, but my first reaction was that it was going to be a deal-breaker for the campaign - that they wouldn't want a pregnant mum - but we worked it out.

"I was trying to push [having another baby] back as much as I could, but it was time. This baby was ready to come.

"The main thing to me is to make sure our home is peaceful, that it's healthy and that the kids are good."

His counterpart from Pakistan, Atif Aslam said, “It makes me very happy when I hear that I am as aggressive as Himesh is, I take it as a compliment. After being a part of the show I now realize the reason behind Himesh’s aggression; I understand that it is his sincerity and the effort that he takes for the show which makes him aggressive. Although I have had a lot of fights in the show I still believe I am the laadla on the sets.” When quizzed about his favourite contestant Atif said, “Reaching the grand finale is a huge achievement in its own right; according to me all four of them are winners.”

Talking on her experience of judging the show Abida Parveen said, “I have been a celebrity judge on numerous occasions in the past but this was the first time I shouldered the responsibility of judging the entire series. The highlight of the show for me was Aasha, Runa and I sharing the same stage. The most difficult part for us has been to decide which contestant to give a 0 or 10 as the talent was so competitive. I hope we have done justice to our job of finding the best among the bests.”

Bigg Boss 6:Niketan declared a finalist

The lean model won the dodge-the-electric-wires competition and earned his place as the captain of the house for the next two weeks.

Post the captain task announcement, every contestant in the house is seen discussing captain nominations when Niketan recieves a call from Bigg Boss which brings a twist.

After Karishma Kotak being ousted from the house in mid-week eviction, another inmate bid adieu to the house. Television actress Aashka Goradia is the latest contestant to be evicted from the house.

Aashka, who spent 81 days at the Bigg Boss house, was nominated against Sana and Sapna for the eviction. When Sana was asked by Salman as to who will be evicted from the house today, Sana took her own name. She said, "Every time I am nominated, I have a feeling that I will be evicted. Since Aashka and Sapna have a good fan following, I think I will be out this weekend."

But, Sapna was announced as safe by Salman Khan and best friends Sana and Aashka made it to the bottom two. Later, on the request of the inmates, Salman yet again entered the Bigg Boss house to celebrate his 47th birthday with them. Also, the nominated ladies of the house requested Salman to escort the ousted inmate with him.

Salman obliged to the request of the inmates and entered the house. He cut the cake and celebrated his birthday with the inmates. Later, he took Aashka and Sana to the main door and announced Aashka's eviction from the house.

Aashka, who has been in the show since Day 1, was also earlier evicted from the house. But, Bigg Boss gave his own twist and she was made to shift to the mud house with wild card contestants.

With just few days left for the finale, Aashka is out of the race to win the reality show. Now, the rest of the six inmates will fight it out for the ultimate winner of Bigg Boss 6.

Colombian superstar Shakira and her soccer star boyfriend Gerard Pique have received a late Christmas gift after welcoming their first child. The 35-year-oldHips Don't Lie hitmaker gave birth to a son on Thursday and her elated partner took to Twitter to share the happy news, reported People magazine. 
"Our son (is) already born! We are very happy! Thank you all for your messages," Pique posted. 

The name of the baby boy has not yet been released. The new mom will be quite busy next year. She will fill in the vacant spot left by Christina Aguilera in the Spring cycle ofThe Voiceand is also expected to release a new album.

Kate and 34-year-old Ned - who has changed his name from Abel Smith - got engaged this summer after a year of dating.

A friend said, “Kate has never looked so happy. Since she and Ned got together it has been full steam ahead.

Ned is the nephew of tycoon Sir Richard Branson, and works part-time for hisspace venture Virgin Galactic.

World's longest high-speed rail line opens connecting Beijing with southern China

China on Wednesday opened the world's longest high-speed rail line that more than halves the time required to travel from the country's capital in the north to Guangzhou, an economic hub in southern China.

The opening of the 2,298 kilometer (1,428 mile)-line was commemorated by the 9 a.m. departure of a train from Beijing for Guangzhou. Another train left Guangzhou for Beijing an hour later.China has massive resources and considerable prestige invested in its showcase high-speed railways program.

But it has in recent months faced high-profile problems: part of a line collapsed in central China after heavy rains in March, while a bullet train crash in the summer of 2011 killed 40 people. The former railway minister, who spearheaded the bullet train's construction, and the ministry's chief engineer, were detained in an unrelated corruption investigation months before the crash.Trains on the latest high-speed line will initially run at 300 kph (186 mph) with a total travel time of about eight hours. Before, the fastest time between the two cities by train was more than 20 hours.

The line also makes stops in major cities along the way, including provincial capitals Shijiazhuang, Wuhan and Changsha.

More than 150 pairs of high-speed trains will run on the new line every day, the official Xinhua News Agency said, citing the Ministry of Railways.

Railway is an essential part in China's transportation system, and the government plans to build a grid of high-speed railways with four east-west lines and four north-south lines by 2020.

The opening of the new line brings the total distance covered by China's high-speed railway system to more than 9,300 km (5,800 miles) — about half its 2015 target of 18,000 km.

'Whitney Houston was murdered': Private investigator claims

Whitney Houston was murdered by drug dealers and a new surveillance video proves it, a Hollywood private investigator is claiming .Paul Huebl says he has turned over evidence to the FBI that shows the 48-year-old singer was killed over a drug debt in February. 

The medical examiner ruled that she drowned in her bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel after taking a cocktail of cocaine, marijuana and several legal drugs.

The National Enquirer is reporting that Huebl believes the troubled star was targeted by several 'high powered drug dealers who sent thugs to collect a huge debt she owed for drugs.' She owed $1.5million to dealers, according to some reports. 

However, Huebl told MailOnline that he doesn't know for certain that Houston was killed - only that evidence he collected could point in that direction. He says that the star received a delivery of cocaine to her room the day before her death and could be heard saying, 'I'm tired of this sh*t.'

He says the Houston had previously been subjected to harassment by dealers trying to collect on her debt. Huebl says he obtained surveillance video that shows two unknown men who repeatedly went to the Beverly Hilton and integrated themselves into Houston's entourage. 
The private investigator claims these are the men who may have slipped into Houston's hotel room and killed her.

He also disagrees with the Los Angeles County Coroner's ruling that the star's death was 'accidental.'

'Whitney’s body shows classic defense wounds that would have occurred while she was battling for her life,' he said. However, Huebl conceded that the marks on her hands and fingernails could have been obtained in some other ways and that they were only 'suspected' defensive wounds. 

The private investigator said he also has evidence that Houston's hotel room was ransacked, showing further hints of a violent struggle. Huebl says he gave his evidence to the Chicago field office of the FBI in the hopes that the agency will open a criminal investigation.

'I think that if you put all these things together, they do kind of spell homicide, with a big red capital "H,"' he told MailOnline.

The FBI did not immediately respond to requests for comment. A message left with Beverley Hills police was not immediately returned. Heubl, a former Chicago police officer who became an actor after he retired, says he conducted the investigation after being hired by a client who did not believe the official reports on Houston's death. 

He believes Beverley Hills police did not fully investigate Houston's death because they did not want to bring the negative attention to Beverly Hills or to the Beverly Hilton. Huebl would not say who hired him.

Manisha discharged from hospital, responding well

Actress Manisha Koirala, who was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer, underwent a successful surgery in New York. She has been discharged from the hospital and is stable, said her manager.
"Manisha's condition is stable now. Post the surgery, she has been discharged and is back to the hotel. She got discharged on Dec 18," Subroto Ghosh, Manisha's manager, told IANS.

"She is very brave and extremely strong. She has taken things very positively," he added. Manisha, 42, underwent surgery Dec 10.Asked him how long will she stay in New York, Ghosh said: "She will be there for at least three more months. Now her treatment is going on and she is responding well. Her parents are with her."

Manisha was first admitted to Mumbai's Jaslok Hospital Nov 28 after she reportedly fell unconscious. However, the reason behind her illness was not made clear.Later, it was reported that she flew to the US for cancer treatment.

She debuted in Bollywood with 1991 hit movie Saudagar and later featured in films like1942 A Love Story, Bombay, Dil SeandLajja.

Bigg Boss 6: Karishma Kotak eliminated from Bigg Boss

Model-actress Karishma Kotak is the latest victim to mid-week evictions on Bigg Boss 6 as the reality show is nearing its finale. 

The 30-year-old TV presenter, who re-entered the house after her father's demise, said her eviction from show came as a surprise."I am little surprised because I was in the nominations this week. This season of the show is really extra-ordinary. Every day has come with some surprise and I really enjoyed my days in the house," Karishma told PTI.

After re-entering the reality show, Karishma said she saw many changes in the house."There were many changes. I re-entered the house because it was my father's wish to participate in the show. After Navjot Singh Sidhu's opted out, the atmosphere of the house worsened. Even I think, after my father's death, I too changed. I became more vocal," she said. 

Karishma had a pleasant stay in the house and always stayed away from controversies. She never talked about her past relationship with model and co-contestant Niketan Madhok, whom she had dated seven years ago.

Asked about the strongest contender for winning the show, Karishma said, "Urvashi Dholakia has the maximum chances of winning the show. Even Niketan is a strong contender. I want him to win the show because he is a good friend and is very honest."

As Expected Nepal Electricity Authority has further increased the loadshedding hours from 69 hours a week to 84 hours which is exactly 12 hours per day. The new power cut schedule will be effective from Dec 26, 2012 which is Poush 11, 2069. Due to dry season, High demand and problem in a turbine of a Hydropower Plant, NEA has already been cutting the city supply for two hours more than the specified schedule (which was 10 hours before) from last week. Fearing more criticism, they had not informed public about the two hours more power cut.

Salman Khan makes his wedding announcement...

Indian actor Salman Khan might have had enough of the media probing about his marriage; he finally decided to make an announcement and put all the enthusiastic journalists at peace.The actor said he will consider tying the knot only after he receives verdict of Jodhpur and Mumbai courts in the blackbuck and vehicle mishap cases against him.

Almost in every press conference and interviews, the 46-year-old actor has been hounded with questions about his marriage.Being one of the most wanted actors in the industry, his never ending bachelorhood has been making headlines for a long time now.

Recently during India TV's show 'Aap Ki Adalat' Salman said, "I will think about marrying only after the courts give their verdicts. If the verdicts go against me, I will marry only after coming out of jail."

Salman is fighting a case in Jodhpur court in the killing of a blackbuck during the shooting of 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in 1999 and another in Mumbai court for the vehicle mishap incident in 2002, which resulted in the death of a person.Salman continued joking, "I hope to be acquitted in both cases, but if I marry before the verdicts, will it be fair? Suppose, if there is a turn of events and I am sent to jail, and my wife has to come with our child to meet me in jail. Will it be fair?"

But Salman confessed during another TV interview 'Frankly Speaking' that he gets irritated when probed about his marriage again and again.

"The way people ask me with certain intention is irritating. It's my marriage, my problem. What do people have to do with my marriage? Will they get any profit out of it? I don't think so. If there's anyone getting profit out of my marriage it will be only me".

His ever growing list of female "good friends" is also not helping his cause of playing down the marriage issue.

Even after being linked with some of the most beautiful women in the industry over the span of 24 years Salman managed to keep his single status intact.

Since his break up with actress Katrina Kaif, Salman has not been linked any other actress.

For the past couple of years Salman's career has been sky rocketing with one box office hit after another.

His latest 'Dabangg 2' which released this weekend has been doing steady business. Four months back 'Ek Tha Tiger' almost crossed the much hyped Rs 200 crore (INR) mark.

Salman is considered the most bankable actor in Bollywood and his schedule is choc-o-block.

As for marriage, the actor shows very little genuine interest in settling down.

Considering his court case has been going on for the last 13 years it might be another few years before we get to meet Mrs Salman Khan.

Vishal Karwal Evicted From the Bigg Boss 6 House

Indian TV star Vishal Karwal, who was a wild card entry into 'Bigg Boss 6', has become the latest contestant to be evicted from the reality show.
The 28-year-old, who has earlier appeared on MTV Roadies and Splitsvilla, was nominated alongside Imam Siddique, Rajiv Paul and Sana Khan.
"I was not expecting to be evicted. I thought Rajiv will go this week, the way he has been behaving. I wanted to stay on the show longer," Vishal told PTI over the phone.
Nevertheless, the actor was happy to be out of the house and meet his friends. Vishal said he wasn't ready to create controversies in order to win the show. He even had some problems doing certain tasks commissioned to the housemates.

"If wanted to win at any cost, my behaviour on the show would have been different. But I am not the kind of a person who would create controversies or get into politics. I raised my voice if I didn't like something. Nobody can force me to do anything against my will."Vishal, who has also appeared on TV shows like 'Bhagyavidhata' and 'Dwarkadheesh - Bhagwaan Shree Krishn', said he took up 'Bigg Boss' as he had some free time before beginning to work on another show.

"I was supposed to begin a daily soap from December, so I had some time in hand to take this up. Last year also I was offered Bigg Boss but I couldn't join because I was doing 'Dwarkadheesh'," he said.

He said he wanted his friend Sana Khan to win the show. "I would be very happy if Sana won. Delnaaz Paul is also nice and has a good chance of winning," Vishal said.
