A leopard strayed into the bungalow of Bollywood actor Hema Malini in Mumbai today morning, triggering panic.
The leopard, believed to have come from the adjoining Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP), was spotted by a security guard in the premises in Dindoshi area of northwest Mumbai.
The actor was not at home at the time of the incident.

Neighbours immediately alerted the park authorities who sent a team equipped with tranquilisers and a cage to trap the wild cat, Chief Conservator of Forests S. A. Thorat said.
The park, spread over around 100 square km, has over five dozen leopards and many other wild animals living in the thick forests.
Leopards often stray into houses in the neighbourhood including the Film City, Aarey Milk Colony, Dahisar, Borivli, Kandivli, Malad, Goregaon, Mulund and Bhandup.
There have been instances of leopards getting killed by speeding vehicles on the Western Express and Eastern Express highways.
