The Queen of controversies, Mallika Sherawat is on the wrong side of thirty and still single. The woman who was once declared as the next big thing of Bollywood is desperately looking for a match and this time on national television!
Mallika, who has courted limelight time and again for her dare-bare acts and controversial statements will choose the man of her dreams on 'The Bachelorette India- Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika'. It is the Indian version of the American competitive reality dating game show The Bachelor.The show is on the lines of Swayamvar, earlier hosted by NDTV Imagine.

Television actor Rohit Roy has been roped in to host the show.The makers were in talks with various actors like Ayub Khan, Sameer Soni, Ronit Roy and others but finally they zeroed-in on Rohit. Rohit Roy is quite upbeat about the show but he has refused to talk about it saying, "I am not allowed to speak anything at the moment."

The show, to be aired on Life Ok channel, will revolve around the single bachelorette with contestants trying to impress her. The Indian version of the show is likely to have 30 contestants vying for Mallika's attention. The show was earlier slated to go on air from this month, but there were rumours that due to Mallika's travel schedule,it (show) was getting little delayed.

However, sources close to the development revealed that now that Mallika is back in India, they are actively working on the show.
