Bigg Boss 6: Mink Brar to enter house as Wild card entrant

Coming Saturday there will be more surprise for big boss regular viewer as model actress Mink Brar will enter the Bigg Boss house as this season's first wild card contestant and she's in a right mind to dispel the dullness she says has enveloped the show.
Mink, who has had her share of controversies on reality TV as well as in her personal life, claims that she will come on the show "to bring in some positive energy". "As Bigg Boss is being projected as a family show (this season), it has become way too proper as all the contestants are very controlled. None of them is having fun; nor are they showing their true colours," Mink said. "Everyone has come with a role and they are playing in a controlled manner. I will energise them and wake them up," she added.
Odds are well on Mink's side as some of the wild card contestants on the previous seasons of Bigg Boss, notably porn star Sunny Leone and TV actors Dolly Bindra and Amar Upadhyay, have also emerged as some of the most popular inmates.
Mink is aware of the fact that being a wild card entry, she'll be the centre of attention of all the housemates, who've been inside for almost a month. So, how will she cope with living inside an isolated house, completely cut off from the outside world? "I don't have any friend inside, but I have carefully watched all the contestants. I am going to be extremely crazy inside the house but will not be embarrassing," she said.

And then she explained her impressions of her would be co contestants. "Urvashi Dholakia is the only contestant who is her natural self. Navjot Singh Sidhu is a rebel but he is not negative as he has conviction in whatever he says. Sapna Bhavnani is trying to grab attention by way of antics and drama, which is getting irritating," Mink said.

The starlet was earlier seen on the reality shows Dancing Queen and Zor Ka Jhatka- hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, and was the runner-up in Sarkar Ki Duniya, a programme with a format similar to that of Bigg Boss. On Sarkar Ki Duniya, she was known for giving a tough time to her fellow contestants.

She also courted controversy when a video clip recently emerged showing Mink in a liplock with another woman model, sparking rumours about her sexuality. Mink grew up in Germany. She is known as Dev Anand's find in the industry who launched her in Pyar Ka Tarana (2003). She did roles in few films like 'Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain' and 'Saat Rang Ke Sapne', all with limited knowledge of the Indian film industry and a serious language barrier! She also did some films like Dipal Tijori's Oops! and small role in Ajnabee.

Her acting and dancing skills got her noticed and she soon did a music album – 'Ghoongat Remix'. Mink considers dance as a serious art form and equates it with beauty, grace, power and rhythm.

She also launched a production house Bro & Sis Productions with her brother, Punnu. Their first film was Katputtli (2006) directed by Sanjay Khanna in which, she had also acted.

Mink is a live wire on screen and on stage, Mink loves all the attention she gets. A big fan of Saroj Khan, Helen, Madhubala and Shilpa Shetty; Mink adores Cleopatra's persona and Waheeda Rehman's graceful stance. Mink admires Akshay's moves and hopes to have him as her dance partner some day. Her song – 'Lal ghagra' always gets her up on her feet and on the dance floor!
