The
grapevine is abuzz with reports that the beefy Khan has taken a special liking
for his ‘Mental’ co-star Daisy Shah.Rumour has it that Daisy and Salman are
spending a lot of time together in Lavasa, where the first phase of filming was
completed.
According
to reports in the Indian media, the two were often spotted going for long walks
and sneaking out for midnight cycle-rides.The lady in question, however,
brushed aside the reports as baseless."Speculation
and rumour is nothing new in the industry. Reports might suggest so many
things, but the reality is best known only to us," she was quoted in the
Indian media.The Southern starlet, who moves up the acting career from dancer
to actress, is all praises for Salman for giving her the lead role in
‘Mental’ after she refused a part in ‘Bodyguard’.

It’s
not often that the broody star gives anyone a second chance.But, he did the
unthinkable only for Daisy."Salman never forgets his promises and gave me
a second chance in 'Mental'. He is the giving type. If a person deserves a
chance, he will definitely give them that. I am glad that Sohail (Khan) and
Salman thought that I would fit the role perfectly. The role is made for me and
I am not going to prove them wrong," Times of India quoted her as saying.
Meanwhile,
Salman’s health and court cases have stalled the release of the movie, shifting
its Eid release date to sometime next year.

Although some media houses claimed that ‘Mental’ will release on
November 22, its director (and Salman’s younger brother) Sohail has revealed to
the Daily Bhaskar that the reports are untrue.
“The way the shooting is going I might make it by the end of the
year, Inshallah. But I haven’t locked in on a date yet,” Sohail confirmed.
‘Mental’ is a remake of Tamil movie ‘Stalin’.
