Ashleigh Butler and her dog Pudsey are the winners of this year's Britain 's Got Talent.
The 17-year-old from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire and her six-year-old dog narrowly beat Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli to the title after receiving the most votes from the public, leaving Welsh choir Only Boys Allowed in third place.
An emotional Ashleigh, who is due to sit her AS Levels next week, was lost for words after finding out she had won the £500,000 prize.

Ashleigh Butler, 17, trained her pet to jump and dance for their elaborate routine, which was performed to Lalo Schifrin's Mission Impossible theme.
An emotional Ashleigh told viewers: "I want to say a massive thank you to everyone that voted for me, I’m so proud of Pudsey it means so much."Ashleigh and her pet dog Pudsey, who she has owned since she was 11 years old, have now secured a spot on this year's Royal Variety Performance. The pair also scooped £500,000.The dancing dog duo pipped bookies' favourites Jonathan and Charlotte, into second place.

The act wowed the judges and viewers earlier in the night with an impressive Mission Impossible style routine.
The energetic performance, which saw Pudsey jump on his owner's shoulders and jump through her arms, received rave reviews from the panel.
David Walliams gushed: "The nation has fallen in love with Pudsey and you too. You are the ones to beat tonight."
Alesha added: "You are showing how special dogs are and what you can do with the right owner and love. You are the ones to beat."
Amanda said: "It was unbelievable and sensational. Pudsey is everybody's best friend."
Dog lover Simon added: "You've got better and better and to do what you did in a short time is a miracle."
It is the first time a dog act has won the show. Simon Cowell, who has been on the lookout for a top dog act, revealed that "his life's work is now complete".
Runners-up Jonathan and Charlotte, who sang Celine Dion's classical hit The Prayer, were however ecstatic to come second. Charlotte said: "Oh my god we came second. It was incredible."
The opera singers had seemed certain to win the show after a "professional performance" in this year's final.
Jonathan and Charlotte, who were the last to perform, have been compared to Susan Boyle, who found fame on the same show in 2009.
Welsh choir Only Boys Aloud, who sang Calon Lan, came third.
Judges David Walliams, Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon had earlier predicted in the series that Jonathan and Charlotte would win the show while Amanda predicted Only Boys Aloud.
Earlier in the night, Irish singer-songwriter Ryan O'Shaughnessy brought the judges to tears after he sang his hit No Name.
The lovesick singer, who nearly missed the final after being contracted to the The Voice in Ireland , sang the song he had written for his best friend Katie Keegan.

Voting statistics released by ITV following the final show Ashleigh and Pudsey received 39 per cent of the votes, while second-placed Jonathan and Charlotte took 25.8 per cent of the vote and third-placed Only Boys Aloud got 15.8 per cent.Staff and pupils at Wrenn School, Wellingborough, where Ashleigh is in the lower sixth form, gathered at the school last night to watch the final in the hall with members of Ashleigh’s family and members of Wellingborough Dog Training Club, of which Ashleigh is a member.
