Actress, singer and fashion designer Jessica Simpson gave birth to a baby girl named Maxwell Drew Johnson in Los Angeleson Tuesday morning.

Jessica Simpson gave birth to a baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson, in L.A. Tuesday morning. This is her first child with fiancé Eric Johnson. "Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby Maxwell Drew Johnson 9 lbs. 13 oz. 21 3/4," the Daily Mail quoted her as writing on her website,Tuesday."We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers we have received. This is Simpson's first child with her fiance, former football player Eric Johnson.
Maxwell weighed in at 9lbs 13oz, and apparently takes her middle name from Jessica's mother Tina, whose maiden name is Drew.
While Drew pays tribute to Jessica's side of the family, Maxwell is Eric's middle name.
