It looks like the coming year will begin on a high note for music lovers because the one and only Bryan Adams is to perform in Nepal in 2011.
At a press conference held on December 8 atSoaltee Crowne Plaza , it was revealed that Adams will perform here on February 20, 2011.

The Bryan Adams live-in-concert is being organised by JPR events and supported by ODC Network. Sunil Hamal, CEO of JPR Events, Suresh Jung Raimajhi and Simant Gurung, CEO and Director of ODC Network were present at the press meet to answer media queries.
They informed that

Adams is the bestselling Canadian male recording artist of all time and has won dozens of awards and nominations, including 18 Juno Awards among 56 nominations, including wins for Best Male Artist in 2000 andMale Vocalist of the Year in 1997 and every year from 1983 to 1987, as well as Junos for Producer, Composer, and Songwriter of the Year. He holds the record for most Juno nominations (seven) in one single night, along with Celine Dion. He has also had 15 Grammy Award nominations including a win for Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or Television for "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You" in 1992. He has also won MTV, ASCAP, and American Music awards. In addition, he has won two Ivor Novello Awards and has been nominated for several Golden and three times for Academy Awards for his songwriting for films.

Though according to official websites of adams no schedule for his concert in nepal have been fixed. Hope if he come to Nepal that will certainly blow up Nepal in international arena and support the The Nepal tourism year to great success.
