The countdown of Lux Hidden Treasure Miss Nepal 2011, a beauty pageant, organised with an aim to explore the beauty and talent of young Nepali women has begun.
At a press meet organised at International Club, Sanepa on August 10, it was informed that 19 females from the age 19 to 25 years will compete with each other for the title. The selected contestants were shortlisted from 53 candidates through interview. It was also announced that the finale will take place on August 26 at Army Officers Club Bhadrakali
.
These contestants are being trained on different aspects like diction, personality, confidence building, camera, hair and beauty tips from August 6. The training will continue for three weeks. Choreographer Rachana Gurung Sharma, Miss Nepal 2005 Sugarika KC Miss, MissNepal 1999 Sweta Singh, glamour photographer Raj Bhai Suwal and media personality Sama Karki are some of the personalities who will provide training to the contestants during the closed sessions
.
The contestants will also attend lectures on issues of women empowerment, culture, tourism, and global warming, by visiting lecturers.
“We are trying to develop professionalism in the contestants through such trainings” explained Subarna Chhetri, Managing Director of the Hidden Treasure Pvt Ltd.
The winner of Miss Nepal 2011 will be awarded with cash prize of Rs 50,000. The first runner up and the second runner up will get cash prize of Rs 35,000 and 25,000 respectively.
