Former NOTW journo Paul McMullan for Celebrity Big Brother 2012?

Former News of The World journalist Paul McMullan has refused to deny apparent rumours that he’s been lined up to take part in Celebrity Big Brother later this year.
Paul McMullan, the former deputy features editor of the now defunct Sunday newspaper, was asked if he was entering the show on last night’s Sunday Night Show by Frank Skinner.
But smirking, the hack replied only: “People talk all sorts of nonsense.”
Show guest Des O’Connor quipped: “I bet you get voted out first!”

McMullan hit headlines last year after going on record about phone hacking at the NOTW, saying it was rife at the newspaper.
He also defended the actions, and controversially claimed: “Privacy is for paedos”, leading comic Steve Coogan to brand him “morally bankrupt” in a row on Newsnight.
Defending himself last night however, he said: “I don’t do bad things to people, if I do I hold my hands up to it.”
However McMullan went on to reveal how he and a photographer had followed fellow Sunday Night Show guest Denise Van Outen for two hours in order to find out who she was dating.
Celebrity Big Brother 2012 is expected back on Channel 5 in August.
