Perhaps the biggest moment of Amitabh Bachchan's big celebration of his 70th birthday was that his granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan's presence. For the first time, her mother, Aishwarya Rai, was not trying to hide her baby from the world, like she usually does. She let her be.
The cute baby was seen enjoying the party in grandma Jaya Bachchan's arms.
Amitabh Bachchan's family and friends organised a big birthday bash on Wednesday night to usher in his 70th birthday.
It was a real surprise to the media when Aishwarya openly showed Aaradhya's face to the world.
Amitabh Bachchan looked dapper in his black velvet outfit. He walked the red carpet with his family -- wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek, daughter Shweta, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai.
Everyone who is anyone in Bollywood was there last night. 800 odd guests walked a red carpet to a sit down dinner at Goregaon's Film City.
After some media reports said that superstar Shah Rukh Khan was missing from the mother of all dos, this photo was SRK and wife Gauri was released to prove they were there to wish India's favourite leading man. And Shah Rukh tweeted this morning:
"Danced with Amitji & Jaya aunty to all the songs I have grown up listening. Too much fun. Thanx abhishek,aishwarya & Aaradhya for the warmth."
