‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1’ held the No.1 spot for the second weekend during the Thanksgiving festive week.
The latest release from the vampire movie franchise ” raked in 42 million dollars over the three-day weekend and 62.3 million dollars in the five days since Thanksgiving.
Disney’s family flick ‘The Muppets’ debuted at No. 2, with sales of 29.5 million dollars for the three-day weekend and a 42-million-dollar five-day holiday haul, the New York Daily News reported.
Three other family films rounded out the top-five and they were the Warner Bros. sequel ‘Happy Feet Two’ at No. 3, Sony’s animated comedy ‘Arthur Christmas’ at No. 4 and Paramount’s epic adventure ‘Hugo’ at No. 5.
