The Descendants star George Clooney recently announced his intentions to organise a fund-raiser for President Barack Obama to support his plans for re-election. Sources claim that Clooney's fundraiser will welcome 150 people, each who will donate $40,000 toward the president's campaign for re-election. The event will take place at Clooney's home on May 10, 2012.

Clooney was quoted to have said, "I'm proud to do whatever I can to support the President... as long as no one asks me to sing." Apart from Clooney, popular band 'Red Hot Chilli Peppers' will also be hosting a free concert for Obama's campaign volunteer.
