Penelope Cruz and her husband Javier Bardem welcomed their
second child on Monday (22.07.13).
Penelope was probably grateful as the world went tizzy with the
new Prince of Cambridge which served as the perfect distraction after she
managed to go under the radar and give birth herself on the same day.
The 39-year-old actress and her husband Javier Bardem, 44,
have welcomed their second child into the world, HELLO! magazine has
confirmed.
The 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' actress - who has a two-year-old
son, Leonardo, with the 'Skyfall' actor - was admitted to Ruber Internacional
hospital in Madrid, Spain, on Monday evening (22.07.13).The notoriously private
couple have yet to provide any further details about the baby, including the
child's weight and name.

This news comes just after a heavily-pregnant Penelope and
Javier - who wed in July 2010 - attended the Los Veranos de la Villa Music
Festival in Madrid on Saturday (20.07.13).
Penelope announced she was expecting just one month after her
younger sister Monica, who chose to use an anonymous sperm donor to get
pregnant.
The 'Nine' star is determined to keep her kids out of the
public eye and wants her family to have a normal life.
She recently said: "I want my son and my kids - if I
have more - to grow up in a way that is as anonymous as possible. The fact that
his father and I have chosen to do the work we do doesn't give anybody the
right to invade our privacy."
On the same day Britain's Prince William and the Duchess
of Cambridge announced they'd welcomed a baby boy at St Mary's Hospital in
London, weighing in at 8Ibs, 6oz.
