Oprah arrived in Mumbai on monday and directly went to the Bachchans house Jalsa where she met Beti B, Aishwarya and rest of the family. Aishwarya gifted her a saree and helped her get dressed up and they all left together for the bash Parmeshwar Godrej was throwing in her honour. Also spotted are Amitabh and Abhishek. Oprah Winfrey, an name known to every now-and-then of media world and other fraternities has landed Indian shores and she was greeted by none other than the top notches of our film industry including Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and her all time favourite Aishwarya Rai who recently turned mother with a baby girl. This is her first visit to India
From Bollywood brigade, the event was embraced by Raj Kumar Hirani, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Anupam Kher with son, Sikander Kher, Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Shilpa Shetty with husband Raj Kundra, Preity Zinta, Abhay Deol, Anil Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Imran Khan, Sameera Reddy and pregnant Lara Dutta and her ex flame Dino Morea.
Oprah chose to stay at Big B’s residence, Jalsa and also met his grand daughter, Beti B, from where they drove to the party together with Abhishek and Aishwarya, Big B posted on twitter as, "The gracious Oprah Winfrey visits our home, to meet us and bless the baby…warm hearted, endearing…drive her to party in her honour. And Oprah in sari…looking lovely!!"

The three Bollywood stars hosted a private party where the biggest names of social entity recorded their presence for Oprah, who herself is a socialite. It was hosted at Parmeshwar Godrej’s residence-at-Juhu, who’s also a recognized name in socialistic world, it saw a remarkable footfall including novelist Shobhaa De and Jewelry designer, Farah Ali Khan.

While on the other hand, some celebrities also took to twitter to show their excitement to meet the icon. Lara posted, "@Oprah and @iamsrk, two people I absolutely adore! Thank you for making my day! Now can go into labour happily!" Sameera tweeted: "My god! Oprah Winfrey is the warmest most down to earth person I have ever met! What a personality! I'm thrilled."
