Big Brother 2013 House:Big Brother 2013 house has been 'completely redesigned'

The Big Brother 2013 has been completely redesigned for its new series this summer. It’s the finishing touch in a big revamp of the Channel 5 show, which will air its fourteenth series from next month. The house is almost complete, having seen a going over by designers since Rylan Clark became the last housemate to leave in the latest Celebrity series in January.

A source told us: “The house is looking great and all it needs now is some new housemates.”Other changes to the show will include a new host in the form of former Bit On The Side presenter Emma Willis and a focus on more ‘real’ housemates. A source said: “The show needs to change and that’s what we’re doing.“We want to get back to the essence of what made it must-see telly.“We’ve got some interesting people signed up this year — including some older folk.”

Speaking to The Sun last month, the supposed insider added: “We don’t just want a bunch of fame-hungry youngsters who only want to show off.”Meanwhile, both Alice Levine and Jamie East have left Bit On The Side, while current Celebrity Big Brother champ Rylan has been tipped to replace them on the spin-off series Bit On The Side. But while everything else is changing, narrator Marcus Bentley will be staying put, tweeting after the announcement of Brian’s axe: “I am thankfully doing Big Brother this summer. I hadn’t read the news today.”
