Truly Africa is waiting for her much loved continental reality TV show Big Brother Africa, which is about to hit our screens on Sunday 26th May this year. The level of buzz on various sites and Blogs about the show, is a clear indication that Africa is ready.
Big Brother Africa 8 would be having 28 contestants representing the 14 participating countries this year, each country would be represented by 2 contestants each (Male and female), the option of bringing Celebrities are still debated upon by the producers. Some celebrities considered are:
Uganda- Desire Luzinda/Jackie. O (Obsessions)
South Africa- Khanyi Mbau
Ghana- Vera sidika/Sarkodie
Nigeria- Iyanya/Dammy Krane/Tonto Dikeh
Kenya- Shaffie weru/Oj Oballa
Zimbabwe- Makosi Musambasi etc
I do not want to confirm or endorse any such claims, all i can say lets wait for the official revelation on 26th May. This 8th edition of the star game show will kick off on May 26, 2013 and will be screened live on DSTV channels 197 and 198.
