Riteish to produce and host Marathi version of Bigg Boss?

After his successful maiden production venture in Marathi film 'Balak Palak' (BP), buzz is that actor Riteish Deshmukh is going to produce and host Marathi version of popular reality show Bigg Boss. "It is too premature to talk about Marathi Bigg Boss.We will talk about it when anything concrete happens...when the time is right," Riteish said in an interview here.

The actor, currently basking in the glory of Balak Palak, said he would like to go for the remake of the film in Hindi.
"I am trying to make my Marathi film Balak Palak in Hindi. I am in support of remakes as it is because of that I am here. My debut Hindi film was a remake," he said.
Riteish Desmukh
'Balak Palak', directed by Ravi Jadhav, was based on curiosity about sex among adolescents. The film got good response from the audience. Ritiesh said he was quite excited about his debut Marathi film - Lai Bhaari which has already gone on floor.  "I am working in a Marathi film Lai Bhaari directed by Nishikant Kamat. We have started working on it...We have shot for about 15 days," he said. As far his Hindi film commitments are concerned, Riteish will be seen next in Sajid Khan's yet-to-be-titled comedy film with Saif Ali Khan and Jacqueline Fernandes.

"I am doing his next film with Saif. I am not playing a negative role in this film. I can't talk much about the film," the actor said.

Bigg Boss Contestants Karishma Kotak to star opposite Salman Khan

Rumours are rife that model Karishma Kotak, lately seen in TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss 6’, has wangled a prized lead opposite Salman Khan in his brother Sohail Khan`s next production to go on the floors. But Sohail has denied the rumours. "I am quite fed up of the rumours. First the media gives my film titles like `Sher Khan`, then `Radhe`, then `Mental`. Now they`ve even given me a leading lady. There are so many rumours about my film, I`ve given up!" said Sohail. He said the Karishma conection to his film is completely baseless, and added: "I have shortlisted a few leading ladies. I`ll announce the (name of the) girl next week.
Karishma Kotak and Salman Khan

Karishma is a half-British, half-Indian a la popular actress Katrina Kaif.
"Perhaps people close to her feel the British-Indian mix of Katrina would work in Karishna Kotak`s favour. We don`t know what she thinks or where the story of being signed for Sohail`s film opposite Salman came from. But the truth is, there`s no truth to it," says a close friend of Salman`s.
In fact at the moment, Sohail`s home production is pushed ahead by a bit. Salman`s dates in 2013 are being worked out for Sohail`s film, Boney Kapoor`s "No Entry Mein Entry" and Sajid Nadiadwala`s "Kick". Leading ladies for all three are on the verge of being locked in.
But Kotak is said to be nowhere in consideration.
To go back a bit, Salman, who hosts "Bigg Boss", was seen to be a little extra kind towards the "soft-and-gentle" Karishma.
"That`s it? That got rumours of her signing his next film going?" Incidentally, Kingfisher model Angela Jonsson was the first choice for Sohail`s film with Salman. She too is apparently not in the reckoning any more.

Sapna Bhavnani strips for new PETA ad

Celebrity hair stylist and Bigg Boss contestant Sapna Bhavnani has gone nude for the latest commercial of PETA.

Sapna, 41, who is known for her tattoos, and lately with the verbal spat in the house of Bigg Boss with Host Salman Khan has appeared in the advertisement which asks people to be comfortable in their own skin and not to use fur and leather items. Her photo in the advertisement comes with the slogan 'Ink, not mink'.
Sapna Bhavnani on ad of PETA

"After I educated myself and saw a few films on the cruelty and what happens to animals, I realised that it just wasn't worth it".

"I take a very strong stance on leather. Pleather is a great substitute for leather. And if you don't know what it is, I just say go to your local shop and ask for that substitute because it is available," Sapna said in a statement.

This is not the first time that Sapna has put her weight behind PETA. She appeared two years ago in another PETA ad holding a pair of scissors and posing next to the caption, "Cut Hair, Not Frogs. Choose to Refuse to Dissect Animals".

My straightforward nature help me win Bigg Boss: Urvashi Dholakia

Bigg Boss season 6 winner Urvashi Dholakia says it was her straightforward nature that helped her win, saying she is exactly like she appeared onscreen.
The actress said that she was not trying to change herself to get accepted by the rest of the house mates."This is the way I am and how I have always been. You can ask everyone. I told them I never thought that I could last so much also," Urvashi told IANS in an interview.
"My straightforwardness works against me but today it worked for me and I won," she said.
The actress said that it is very important to be the way you are and she lives by this philosophy herself.
"My personal experience is that be the way you are. You don't need to become someone else or have a split personality. If you are accepted the way you are then it is good," she said.Urvashi also said that she doesn't intend to use this platform to take her career ahead in any way, and views this public platform as a way to showcase herself.
"I don't intend to use this platform. I never came to use it. This platform has given me an opportunity to showcase how I am," she
Talking about co-contestant Imam Siddique, Urvashi said that she saw a positive and negative side in him. She said that the image consultant was playing a game in the house and accepted this as himself as well."Imam was playing a game and he claims it too. I always believed that there was a good and bad side of him. He has humanity but his other side, I can't understand. So when that used to happen I used to feel weird. I don't think anyone supported him from the beginning but me. All I told him was that he should leave this negativity," she said.
The actress is best known for her role as a vamp in show,Kasautii Zindagii Kay and says that she is open to work in films as well as television too.
"Work is work....I respect all kind of work. The industry has always been very welcoming for me. Even when I came after my separation, they accepted me and made me reach here," she said.

Even after having won an amount of Rs500,000 on the show, the actress said that it was never the prize money which attracted her to the show.
"The money was not at all important for me. I didn't come here because of that. I never earned so much money together ever in my life. I can say this openly and this is a big thing for me. And I am very confident this time," she said.
"I believe in the philosophy that the more you run after something, the more it runs away from you," she said.

Urvashi was seen to be one of the strongest contestants in the show. Being a single mother of three, she said that she does get shattered at times, but composes herself and tries again.
"I do get shattered but then I resurrect my confidence. My career was written off in 2008 only by some people. My mother has taught me that what you sow that you shall reap and everything happens in this world only. So whatever you do, do it after thinking nicely," she said.
She feels that it is entirely up to a person how they deal with the competition and problems around them.
"I am a human being and I have my down moments too... But this world is all about fighting for survival. Every field has competitors and it is up to you how to deal with it," she said.

BIGG BOSS 6: Delnaaz, Urvashi or Niketan may win The Show

The day is not far when one of the contestants remaining on the Indian reality show Bigg Boss Season 6 will take home the prize money.Just five days remaining and 6 contestants are fighting to survive in the volatile situation in Bigg Boss house.

Ex-couple Delnaaz Irani-Rajev Paul, Sana Khan, Imam Siddique, Niketan Madhok and Urvashi Dholakia have endured over 90 days. But ultimately it will be only three contestants who will fight it out and audience will vote to decide the winner.Couple of days ago renowned numerologist Sanjay B Jumaani entered the house to predict which contestant has a brighter chance of winning.
Niketan Madhok
As per his predictions Niketan Madhok, who has already been declared one of the finalist, could be the winner. But, Urvashi Dholakia and Delnaz Irani are also strong contenders and might just take the cake away. Niketan who is a model, has been one of the least controversial contestants on the show. He rarely got into arguments or groupism but has been sly and instigated housemates against each other.

Sadly, his family has been undergoing financial crisis which he revealed quite recently. He even stated that he needs the prize money to help his family.

Delnaz is on a different ball game altogether and has good chances of winning due to the sympathy wave. The actress came face-to-face with ex-husband Rajev Paul on the show. She went through emotional turmoil during this stay and got engaged in arguments with Rajev. Delnaz's family claims that Rajev had earlier used her to pay off his outstanding loans and is now cashing on her presence in the show to grab the attention of the audience.
Delnaz Irani
This simple coy lady often faced the firing squad in the show yet managed to keep her calm. She is often seen taking care of the housemates and speaking to them very politely. Urvashi Dholakia – the small screen vamp, is a very strong contender. Blunt and outspoken by nature, she is a fighter. She has seen many ups and downs in life as a single mother of twin son. Her family is the force behind her which also keeps her strong despite the nasty comments she faces. Urvashi remains balanced and often tries to guide the housemates in the right direction. A tough nut from exterior, Urvashi has a softer side which she often camouflages with harsh tone.
Urvashi Dholakia
With these traits combined she already appears to be a winner.Although Jumaani’s predictions seldom go wrong you never know when Bigg Boss will throw in another surprise and someone else might walk away as the winner.

Bigg Boss 6:Sapna Bhavnani evicted From Bigg Boss House,Said Salman is male Chauvinist.

Sapna Bhavnani probably the most controversial Housemate of Bigg Boss Season 6 has been evicted.Sapna Bhavnani was said to be embroiled in a verbal spat with Salman Khan during her "Bigg Boss 6" stint. The celebrity hairstylist, the latest to be evicted from the show, agrees she had differences with the actor, but says she isn't obliged to defer to him just because of his star status.

"Salman is not god, neither am I. We have differences. He is the number one star, which doesn't mean that I have to act with him in a certain way," Bhavnani said post her eviction.
She came to be known for her straightforward yet short-tempered demeanour on the show, though over the period of her stay, she mellowed down and kept calm most of the times.
Sapna Bhavnani

After her eviction, the contestants left in the house include Niketan Madhok, Urvashi Dholakia, Delnaaz Irani, Rajev Paul, Sana Khan and Imam Siddique.
However, she feels Delnaaz, Sana and Rajev doesn't deserve to win the game at all."The coalition between Sana, Rajev and Delnaaz has brought them till here. I don't think there is anything interesting about them. I don't see anything good in them," said Bhavnani, whose star clientele includes John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

While she calls Rajev a "hopeless person", she feels his former wife Delnaaz "needs to stand up" for herself on the show.

"Delnaaz has taken a lot of nonsense from Rajev. She is behaving like a 'bechari' (helpless woman). She is completely fake. She should have retaliated. She would have set up a good example for women," said Bhavnani.

As for Rajev, Sapna feels he is just interested in picking up fights with everyone.

"Rajev is politically incorrect. He is hopeless and picks up fights with everyone for no reason. He is obnoxious and behaves like a college kid. He wears all these loud t-shirts. Karishma (Kotak) used to rightly say, 'one should act your age and not your shoe-size'," she said.

Bhavnani says she didn't want to be a part of any groups in the house and is happy to be out of it now.
Sapna Bhavnani

"If I had been a part of any group, I would have gone mad. I am happy to be out of the show. Since the first week I was ready to be out of it," she said.

She only wishes that cartoonist Aseem Trivedi or Gulab gang leader Sampat Pal had remained long enough in the show to emerge winner.
"I thought that since 'Alag che' (it's different) was the concept (this season), I would have wanted one of my role models to win the show. I would have wanted either Aseem or Sampat to win," she said.

Asked who would she like to be friends with after the show, she said: "I would want to stay friends with Karishma, Niketan, Urvashi, Imam and of course, Aseem," she added.

Bigg Boss 6:Niketan declared a finalist

The lean model won the dodge-the-electric-wires competition and earned his place as the captain of the house for the next two weeks.

Post the captain task announcement, every contestant in the house is seen discussing captain nominations when Niketan recieves a call from Bigg Boss which brings a twist.

Aashka, Rajev and Uravshi – the nominated contestants -- get ready to perform the task. As Aashka refuses to do the task, Sana performs the task on her behalf.

Niketan

Post the nominated contestants’ performance, Bigg Boss gives the other contestants a chance to perform and win.

Niketan takes it up and wins the task eventually becoming the captain of the house for the next two weeks and being the first finalist of Bigg Boss Season 6.

Post the task, Niketan takes pride in winning the task successfully. He shares his life story with Delnaz and Aashka telling he is on the show as his family is undergoing a financial crisis.

As the day ends, Aashka, Delnaz and Sana are having a conversation which eventually ends up in a
fight.

Bigg Boss 6: Aashka Goradia evicted from the house

After Karishma Kotak being ousted from the house in mid-week eviction, another inmate bid adieu to the house. Television actress Aashka Goradia is the latest contestant to be evicted from the house.
Aashka, who spent 81 days at the Bigg Boss house, was nominated against Sana and Sapna for the eviction. When Sana was asked by Salman as to who will be evicted from the house today, Sana took her own name. She said, "Every time I am nominated, I have a feeling that I will be evicted. Since Aashka and Sapna have a good fan following, I think I will be out this weekend."

But, Sapna was announced as safe by Salman Khan and best friends Sana and Aashka made it to the bottom two. Later, on the request of the inmates, Salman yet again entered the Bigg Boss house to celebrate his 47th birthday with them. Also, the nominated ladies of the house requested Salman to escort the ousted inmate with him.
Salman obliged to the request of the inmates and entered the house. He cut the cake and celebrated his birthday with the inmates. Later, he took Aashka and Sana to the main door and announced Aashka's eviction from the house.
Aashka, who has been in the show since Day 1, was also earlier evicted from the house. But, Bigg Boss gave his own twist and she was made to shift to the mud house with wild card contestants.
With just few days left for the finale, Aashka is out of the race to win the reality show. Now, the rest of the six inmates will fight it out for the ultimate winner of Bigg Boss 6.
