As promised by Prime Minister, NEA( Nepal Electricity Authority) has reduced the load-shedding hours from 14 hours to 12 hours a day. This comes in effect after India continued the previously halted 24 MW electricity to Nepal. New Load-shedding Schedule Effective From December 8 2012 (Mangshir 23 2069)

Even the Present Government of Nepal had promised to decrease the load shedding hour in this Year t doesn't seem to be come real. Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has decided to increase the load-shedding hours for the second time in the past 10 days. The new load-shedding regime will come into effect from December 8.

The state-monopoly on supply of electricity has hiked the load-shedding hours by 14 hours to make it 70 hours a week from the existing 56 hours. This means that consumers will now have to face 10 hours of daily power cuts from Saturday.

NEA has said reduction of water level and flow in the rivers with the onset of winter has severely depleted its capacity to generate more electricity and made it mandatory to increase load-shedding.

Load-shedding will take place on the given time inside the Kathmandu Valley and 5 minutes after the given time outside the Valley.


Depending upon the condition, load-shedding could increase/decrease by one hour.

Lady Gaga announces European tour dates

Lady Gaga is gearing up for another world tour as she announced the dates for the European leg of her 'Born This Way Ball' tour. The 26-year-old singer took to her Twitter account to inform fans about the first 21 dates of the tour, which will start in Bulgaria on August 21 and end in Barcelona on October 6.

"The first 21 European dates to THE BORN THIS WAY BALL will be announced and tweeted at 3am EST/12am PST/7am GMT. I'm so excited! #pawsup," the Daily Mail quoted her as tweeting.

 "ATTENTION EUROPEAN LITTLE MONSTERS: THE BORN THIS WAY BALL FIRST 21 DATES ARE HERE. #ImGoingToTheBTWBall," she wrote.

Gaga's announcement comes after both the Asian and Australasian legs sold out incredibly quickly.

The tour, produced by Live Nation, kicks off in Seoul, North Koreaon April 27.

British glam rockers The Darkness will be her support act for the European tours.

"The Haus of Gaga and I have worked for months conceiving a spectacular stage.

"The Born This Way Ball is an Electro-Metal Pop-Opera; the tale of the Beginning, the genesis of the Kingdom of Fame. How we were birthed and how we will die celebrating," the singer said in a statement. The new tour is her first gigs since the phenomenal sales of her last album 'Born This Way', which has sold almost 6 million copies since its May 2011 release.

New Load Shedding Schedule of Nepal ( effective From 16th january 2012)

Dear residents of nepal , the Loadshedding hours in nepal have been increased and New Schedule will eb effective from  16th january 2012. So its necessary to know the schedule to perform the housework perfectly. So here is the new Schedule of Loadshedding that will be effective from today. Depending upon the condition, load-shedding could increase/decrease by one hour.

The load-shedding will be two more hours in the areas of the feeders where 40 to 50 per cent of electricity leakage is recorded.

The load-shedding will be three more hours in the areas of the feeders where more than 50 per cent of electricity leakage is recorded.So please inform the NEA authority if you find someone stealing electricity near your place and get less load shedding
