New book claims Michelle Obama prepared divorce papers to separate from Barack

Michelle Obama prepared divorce papers to separate from Barack Obama in 2000 following his disastrous attempt to win a House seat in Chicago, according to a new book.
When he lost miserably the future First Lady was supposedly disgusted that her husband had ignored her warnings not to take on the four term incumbent Bobby Rush.
Their marriage - in its eighth year at the time - was ‘on the rocks’ with Mr Obama so depressed some of his friends feared he was suicidal.
The claims mark the second time the Obamas have faced allegations they were on the verge of divorce after reports in 2010 suggested they were having difficulties.
The couple have admitted that in the past they did go through a rough patch but that they patched things up and grew closer together.
The Amateur writen byEdward Klein

The Obamas have now been married for 21 years and have two children, Malia, 13, and Sasha, nine.
In ‘The Amateur’, Mr Klein’s unauthorised account of Mr Obama’s life and first term in office, he claims that Mr Obama was over ambitious in his attempt to take on House member Mr Rush for the black South Side seat in Chicago.
In a crushing blow, he lost by two votes to one prompting claims from Mr Rush that he was an ‘educated fool’.
Mr Klein writes: ‘After Obama’s humiliating defeat he was broke and deeply in debt and it looked as though he might be finished in public life.
‘During the dark days that followed his defeat, he turned to Michelle for comfort. But she was in no mood to offer him sympathy.
Barack Obama with his wife Michelle Obama

‘As a result their marriage was on the rocks, and Obama confided to friends that he and Michelle were talking about divorce.
‘Michelle actually had divorce papers drawn up’, one of her friends told me’.
In desperation Mr Obama begged friends to help him open an office to stay in politics - but did not tell his wife for fear of her wrath if she found out.
The couple appear to have worked out their differences, however - Mr Obama ran for a Senate seat in Illinois and won it in, assuming office in 2005 and restoring his wife's faith in him.
The Amateur also includes a number of other claims about Mr Obama, including an interview with his former pastor Jeremiah Wright which could ignite the debate about his religion.
During the 'birther' row about where Mr Obama was born he faced repeated accusations that not only was he born in Kenya, he was in fact a Muslim and not a Christian as he claims to be.
Asked by Mr Klein if he converted Mr Obama from Islam to Christianity, Mr Wright said: ‘That’s hard to tell.
Barack Obama with his Family

‘I think I convinced him that it was okay for him to make a choice in terms of who he believed Jesus is. And I told him it was really okay and not a put down of the Muslim part of his family or his Muslim friends’.
Mr Obama was supposedly known as ‘Black Jesus’ by his former senior campaign adviser David Axelrod because of his messiah complex, Mr Klein writes.
He also had a run-in with Steven Rogers, a wealthy businessman who became the Gund Family Distinguished Professor of Entrepreneurship at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Early in his campaign for the U.S. Senate he gave Mr Obama $3,000 and arranged for thousands more dollars to be donated to him on one condition: he come and speaks at the school when he got elected.
After becoming a Senator Mr Obama is said to have gone back on his offer because he was too busy and told Mr Rogers: ‘Come on man, you should know better when politicians make promises’.
Obama's couple with Oprah Winfrey

In a furious tirade Mr Rogers screamed at him and had used abusive language.
A year later Mr Obama finally showed up but by then Mr Rogers’ had all but written him off as a friend.
In extracts which had already been made public Mr Klein claims that Mrs Obama is so jealous of her husband receiving female attention she orders women who are close to him in the White House to be watched.
The First Lady is supposedly paranoid Mr Obama will cheat on her as John F Kennedy did to his wife.
In the book he adds more detail and claims when Mr Obama was studying at Harvard as a law student she would fly into jealous rages when she saw him with other women.
She was supposedly so territorial that she ‘drove a lot of Barack’s friends away’, Mr Klein writes.
The only reason they got married at all was that Mrs Obama ‘insisted’ upon it - because she wanted to ‘remake him’ as she wanted and not let him have an easy life.
The book claims that once her husband assumed office she began to wield power behind the scenes to such an extent that Mr Obama shares a ‘co-presidency’ with her.
Mr Klein also alleges that Mr Obama twice snubbed Caroline Kennedy, the daughter of former U.S. President John F Kennedy, and that he and Mrs Obama privately made disparaging comments about her family - and even their clothes.
‘Caroline got the impression that most of this negativity was coming from Michelle, who didn’t want the Kennedys to be part of the administration for fear that they would have too much influence over the president.’
Among others who were also shut out of the White House were Oprah Winfrey who Mr Klein claims was given the cold shoulder for being too fat.
The title of the book comes from a supposed outburst last August by former U.S. President Bill Clinton who branded Mr Obama ‘an amateur’.
He also urged his wife Hillary to quit her post as U.S. Secretary of State and challenge Mr Obama for the Democratic ticket in this year’s elections, telling her: ‘Your country needs you! Your country needs us!’
The White House has denounced the book and said that Mr Klein has a record for making things up.
Mr Clinton has also denied he insulted the President.

J.K. Rowling Reveals Title and Release Date of her First adult Novel

Harry Potter's adventures may be over, but author J.K. Rowling isn't finished casting her literary spell.
One of the most successful authors of all time sent fans into a tizzy when she announced in February that she'll be penning an adult-themed novel—her first literary effort since retiring her boy wizard's wand in 2007.
Rowling didn't reveal much then at that time , but now something have been revealed  about the book's title, storyline and when we can expect it to drop.
J.K. Rowling
First up, the title: The Casual Vacancy.
Intriguing! Sounds deceptively nondescript, but with just the right curio quotient thrown in.
So what's it about? Here's a brief synopsis provided by Rowling's publisher, Little, Brown:
"When Barry Fairweather dies unexpectedly in his early forties, the little town of Pagford is left in shock. Pagford is, seemingly, an English idyll, with a cobbled market square and an ancient abbey, but what lies behind the pretty façade is a town at war. Rich at war with poor, teenagers at war with their parents, wives at war with their husbands, and teachers at war with their pupils...Pagford is not what it first seems. And the empty seat left by Barry on the parish council soon becomes the catalyst for the biggest war the town has yet seen."

Hmmm…students, teachers, councils, ancient abbeys, battles—sounds like awfully familiar turf for Rowling, who earlier today tweeted a link to her brand-spankin'-new author website.
So when can you get your paws on Rowling's new tome?
Set your alarms for Sept. 27, 2012. And get those lawn chairs ready for what will likely be a bum-rush campout. You can see my download page to download ebooks for free.

'The 3 Mistakes of My life’movie gets Gujarati title

After directing super hit musical "Rock On!!", director Abhishek Kapoor will wield the magaphone for his next untitled movie based on the novel "The 3 Mistakes Of My Life" and says it will go on floors this month.
"I have locked the script. We are ready to roll the cameras. We are going on floors from this month (April)," Abhishek told IANS.
The “3 Mistakes Of My Life” is a big screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's bestseller and the author tweeted that the film’s title will be in Gujarati.
Kapoor refused to talke about the star cast and added: "We will make an official announcement soon."
When asked whether he has roped in Prateik to play one of the characters, the director said: "No it's not true."

Kapoor started his career as a director with “Aryan” in 2006, but became a known name after “Rock On!!”, which marked the acting debut of director Farhan Akhtar. Arjun Rampal won his first National Award for his performance in the movie.

"Saw first look posters for the '3 mistakes' movie. Wow! You shall be proud. But @utvfilms won't let me share them yet. Soon I promise," he added.

So far, two of Bhagat's books -- "Five Point Someone" and "One Night @ the Call Center", have inspired films - "3 Idiots" and "Hello" respectively.

“Hello” was released in 2008 but was not such a big success. But "3 Idiots", which talks about the life of three engineering students, went on to become the biggest hit of 2009.
The rights of his last novel "Revolution 2020" have been bagged by UTV Motion Pictures.

JK Rowling to write first novel for adults

JK Rowling famous for her Harry potter series has revealed that she plans to publish her first novel for adults, which will be "very different" from her 'Harry Potter' books. It will be published worldwide, but no date or title has been released yet.

"Although I've enjoyed writing it every bit as much, my next book will be very different to the Harry Potter series, which has been published so brilliantly by Bloomsbury and my other publishers around the world," the BBC quoted her as saying in a statement.
J.K. Rowling

"The freedom to explore new territory is a gift that Harry's success has brought me, and with that new territory it seemed a logical progression to have a new publisher," she said.

All the 'Potter' books were published by Bloomsbury, but Rowling has chosen a new publisher for her debut into adult fiction.

"I am delighted to have a second publishing home in Little, Brown, and a publishing team that will be a great partner in this new phase of my writing life."

Little, Brown's David Shelley said the company were "thrilled, honoured and proud" to be publishing Rowling's latest novel.

The writer published seven 'Potter' books, which have sold more than 450 million copies around the world.

Steve Jobs biography might get an addendum

Perhaps following in the mold of Apple, biographer Walter Isaacson has hinted there might be a newer, better version of the Steve Jobs biography in the future.
According to a new article in Fortune, which spoke directly to Isaacson, there is already behind-the-scenes discussion about a new edition of the book.
Of course, since the book was actually completed and ready for the printers before Jobs's death, there is nothing in the biography about the final moments of the man's life - something that seems quite necessary for a book that chronicles the entire life of someone.

So one thing that is on the table is an addendum that would add more information about those final weeks, days, and hours.

Beyond that, there are also rumblings about a completely overhauled version of the current edition, one that would provide extensive annotations throughout the book.
Clearly, Isaacson wants to keep the Jobs biography fresh and interesting, and since it was the Apple co-founder's death that was partially responsible to catapulting the book to untouchable best-seller status, having more details about the death itself would be a sure way to gain new attention.
When commenting about how well the current biography captures the life of Jobs, Isaacson was quoted as saying, "This is the first or second draft. It's not the final draft."

Steve Jobs biography Amazon's best-selling book of 2011!!!

The best tribute to the Steve jobs is buying his biography and knowing about his creative ideas and lots of gadget lover did so as "Steve Jobs", the only authorised biography of the late Apple co-founder, has climbed to the top of Amazon.com's best-selling books for 2011.
The book was released in October, Xinhua reported. The 56-year-old Jobs died Oct 5 after a long battle with cancer.
Amazon.com, however, did not give the exact sales numbers.
According to earlier data from Nielsen BookScan, the book sold around 383,000 copies in its first week of release in the US.
The biography has become the bestselling electronic title in Brazil. In Taiwan, orders for the book reportedly surpassed previous bestsellers.

Sony Pictures has reportedly acquired the rights for a film based on the book. Aaron Sorkin, an Academy and Emmy award winning screenwriter, whose works include "A Few Good Men", "The West Wing" and "The Social Network", said he has been asked and was strongly considering taking on the screenplay.

Noah Wyle, who played Jobs in the 1999 film "Pirates of Silicon Valley", as well as George Clooney are reportedly running to play the technology icon in the film.

The biography, based on interviews with Jobs, his family members, friends, colleagues and business rivals, is written by former managing editor of Time magazine Walter Isaacson, who has also written biographies of Albert Einstein and Benjamin Franklin.

Chetan Bhagat's Revolution 2020 now to come out as a movie!!!

UTV Motion pictures has acquired the rights to author Chetan Bhagat’s latest bestseller, Revolution 2020. Siddharth Roy Kapur, CEO, UTV Motion Pictures, says, “We have been in discussions with Chetan for a while to do something together. When he shared his latest book with us even before it was published, we read it cover to cover in a single sitting.”

Revolution 2020 narrates the story of three central characters — Gopal, Raghav and Aarti — whose destinies are intertwined. “He has crafted a dramatic plot with such sharply defined characters, that you constantly wonder how things will play out. The issues he deals with are those that today’s youth will instantly relate to,” adds Kapur.

Revolution 2020 tells the story of childhood friends Gopal, Raghav and Aarti who struggle to find success and love in Varanasi. Gopal, the narrator and son of a poor school teacher, gets into trouble the first time he meets Aarti. He steals from her lunch box on their first day in class V, and she complains to the teacher. He apologises to her, and the two become friends. Well into their teens now, Gopal realises that he loves Aarti. He tells her, but she rebuffs him.
Gopal and his friend Raghav are both preparing for engineering entrance exams, though neither really wants to become an engineer. Raghav wants to be a journalist while Gopal simply wants to be rich, whatever the path may be. Raghav gets into Banaras Hindu University while Gopal fails to get an admission. His ailing father manages to find money to send him to take coaching classes in Kota. When he returns to Varanasi a year later, his childhood love Aarti is dating Raghav. After finishing the course, Raghav gets a job in a newspaper while Gopal starts a private engineering college with the help of a corrupt MLA. As Gopal gives in to the system, and Raghav fights it, the story is about who will win.Who will win it?

The Aamir Khan-starrer 3 Idiots (2009), which was based on Bhagat’s debut novel Five Point Someone and also produced by UTV Motion Pictures, turned out to be the biggest grosser of all time in Indian cinema.

Apparently UTV is planning to rope in three Bollywood A-list actors for the lead characters of Gopal, Aarti and Raghav, but they’ve reserved comments on who they are in talks with.

Bhagat explains, “UTV finally managed to seduce me. Immense excitement about the story and a wonderful team makes me feel they can do justice to Revolution 2020.” To Read the Novel please follow the link below to download.

Chetan Bhagat with his family
.
It is not a sugary sweet type love story. Aarti, the girl likes both the guys and all the characters are not secure about their love. The story highlights the fact of the new love trend that is ‘I love you, but I also have a backup’ in which people thinks something and says something else. The tagline ‘Love.Corruption.Ambition.’ refers to the central themes of the book. Corrupted education sector is the backdrop of the story. And three characters of the book have strong ambitions. The ways through which they are achieving their ambitions forms a big part of the story.
Topics of Chetan Bhagat’s novel inspire reader much better than his writing. Today the levels of corruption in the country and its effect on the education system are noticeably serious concerns. When author travel for his usual talks in Varanasi, he feels that the voices of India’s small town are not heard enough by the government and it is detached in terms of providing them a good job or a college. These disturbing levels of corruption in the education system have deep effects on the quality of education about which the government claim to give to our new generation. Chetan Bhagat believes that as an author of present India, he decided to provoke some thoughts in this direction by making light, gripping, and entertaining story that can able to bring people’s attention. So, the story is consisting with momentous messages along with the romance and a lot of drama this time.
