Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's condition has improved a lot and he has been shifted to normal room from Intensive Care Unit (ICU), said his son-in-law Dhanush K Raja on Monday.

Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, where the actor is admitted, said Rajinikanth's breathing has stabilized and his vital parameters are back to normal.

"Rajnikanth spent time with his family and has food by himself. He is still in the ICU to restrict visitors and avoid infections," said his medical bulletin.
The icon of South Indian cinema was admitted in Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre here on May 15.
The Tamil actor has been undergoing dialysis and has kidney problems.
Rajinikanth has been suffering from recurrent respiratory infection and gastro intestinal ailments and was advised complete bed rest.
